Visitors to Yirranma Place are invited to explore both the rich culture and history of the surrounding neighbourhood, and the mission and work of the Paul Ramsay Foundation.
Inside the building’s foyer Blue Gum Hall, a beautiful animated visualisation of ‘the cycle of disadvantage’ invites visitors to discover the story of PRF, view data visualisations and explore the Foundation’s partners.
In the lift lobby, a projected picture gallery and interactive touch screens invite exploration of the places and people that make up Darlinghurst’s local community, past and present. In the Great Hall, a 3D scale model of the building attracts and encourages visitors to peer into its secret history, via a cutting-edge augmented reality experience. Additionally, the Yirranma Place website hosts a series of richly produced audio stories which bring Darlinghurst’s vibrant social history to life, and act as rich windows into the Paul Ramsay Foundation’s neighbourhood home.
